A great sounding and balanced sound system plays a key part in any live event. With our well-trained and highly experienced engineers making up part of our small team, we supply our live sound services and equipment to many events in and around the UK. Our sound systems have been designed for the best listening experience possible with even acoustic dispersion and great audio coverage. They are suitable for a wide range of different purposes.
 
Live Performance Sound
In general, we believe there are two main methods of providing live sound for a musical performance. We are confident and capable of both depending on the initial goal.
Firstly, there is the minimalist approach to accurately reproduce and amplify sounds over a large space at a higher level of volume whilst retaining clarity. This limits any unwanted feedback noise (the horrible screeching noise sometimes heard when a system is not being operated correctly). This method involves just a few well-positioned specialist microphones designed to pick up sounds from a large area, and with some small tweaks to the sound that they produce, this is the best way to avoid betraying the ­­­­­original sound the artist is producing. This type of engineering would ordinarily be used for choirs or more classical types of music.

Alternatively, there is the more popular approach of amplifying sound which consists of using microphones that pick up each individual instrument and voice. We do this so that we are able to make live tweaks to frequencies and slightly adjust the sound that each device or instrument individually produces, ensuring that they all come together and are able to be amplified to a much higher volume… All whilst still continuing to retain clarity and limit any unwanted feedback. This method is where, if utilized correctly, a sufficient sound system can add a very positive and powerful feeling to the experience of live music.   
 
Live Vocal Sound
We offer our sound systems for the amplification of all types of vocals/voices as well! With this method of live sound we can amplify voices accurately and clearly, limiting any unwanted feedback noise. This service is often used for comedy nights, conferences, presentations and awards ceremonies.
 
Background/SFX Systems
Our sound systems can be used to play background music, or amplify sounds for special effects. Used for many different purposes, music and sounds are a great way to help create an atmosphere in any circumstance. 
 
DJ Sound Systems
Our sound systems are of high quality and can be used for DJ’s or similar artists too. We have worked with many DJ’s and artists that would highly recommend the crisp, clean sound that we are able to achieve from our equipment.

If required, we can also supply equipment and an additional sound engineer for the monitor mix including (but not limited to) additional mixing desks and cables for stage-side monitor mixes.
(Some performers prefer the reassurance of knowing that there is somebody alongside them that can hear what the on-stage sound is like, and so mix it accordingly).
We also have a variety of different equipment to compliment our sound systems which we may utilize in our quotes. These include controlling interfaces, cable ramps, operation structures, rigging and power distribution.
